ANOTHER adoption

For the second time, we have expanded the family through adoption. After losing Cici the Border Collie, we broke down and got another dog -- despite Chuck's early conviction that it would not be a good idea. We had already made an appointment to meet an adolescent labradoodle being rehomed by the breeder when, on Christmas, Faith started approaching Auntie Lila's dog and saying ... "HI, CICI! HI, CICI!"
As you can see, Faith warmed right up to her new canine companion ...

Willow is about a year and a half old (almost two), and came from Pleasant View Farm in Greenleaf, WI. The breeders were very nice, and provided complete medical records for the dog, a female who as you can tell is very affectionate. We'll have a little bit of training and doggie education to do, but she will be a lot less work than a tiny puppy -- a good thing seeing as we already have one infant running around here!
