Out of town visitors

It was a busy day yesterday for Faith, with a number of out-of-town visitors.

Chuck's aunt Kitty Michals was in town from Las Vegas, and her son -- Cousin Grant -- was in from Los Angeles. Chuck's aunt Gloria came just down the road from Waukesha and also paid Faith a visit. This was the first time for Faith meeting the Michals clan (with the exception of an introduction at Uncle Don Michals' memorial service on Saturday). This was also an opportunity for Chuck's Mom's sisters to check out the new house to see if it passed muster. While Faith seemed pretty comfortable with Gloria and Kitty, she seemed a bit uncertain about Grant ...



After all the excitement of the day -- which included a pastoral visit from Rob Hopper from the Conservative Quaker group of Evanston, Ill. -- Faith and Carla took a well-earned nap ...
