A bit surreal

Just walked upstairs after a couple of peeps came over the baby monitor and checked on the little bit. A wave of disbelief washed over me. Yes, this really happened this fast and there is this diminutive little person, lying there in a formula-induced stupor.

Wow.

She had pulled the blanket up over her head, and I peeled it back down. Shortly, she will let us know that it is now time for more formula, and perhaps a number of other services. There is a new rhythm to the house.
